Victoria police are searching for a female suspect after two people were injured by her dog on the grounds of Quadra Elementary school on Thursday.

Police were called to the school around 2:30 p.m., after two people were injured by a large dog. One of the victims was a child at the school, the other a teacher who attempted to intervene. When officers arrived the alleged owner of the dog had left the scene and given the victims a false name and phone number. The two victims were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white female, in her late 20s to early 30s. She has a slender build, standing about five feet, eight inches tall. She has curly blonde hair. She was wearing a grey tank top and black pants. She gave the victims the name “Amber Valle” but that appears to have been false, police said.

Her dog is described as an extremely large black and brown Rottweiler, weighing approximately 150 lbs.
