Esquimalt Ribfest

  • What: Annual rib cook-off! Ribbers will smoke ribs, chicken and beef to compete for various titles. Selection of beer and cider from local breweries. Kid zone includes bouncy castle, games and crafts. Portion of funds raised will go towards the Esquimalt Firefighters Charitable fund. Admission FREE or by donation. Event from 1:00-10:00pm

  • What: BC’s #1 beer event with over 60 breweries to choose from. Tickets $40. Food trucks on site. Festival from 3:00-8:00pm

SATURDAY September 10

Paddle for Health

  • What: Paddle your way for a good cause past Cattle Point into Cadboro Bay to Gyro Beach then back to Willows Beach. This event to benefit Vancouver Island Families Living with Childhood Cancer. *Please not all loaner kayaks/paddle boars have been allocated, you can still registers if you own a kayak or paddle board.

Vancouver Island Corn Maze

  • What: Back for its second year, the corn maze is bigger and better, with a British Columbia theme. The maze is more than 14 acres in size with 10 kilometres of trails. The grand opening is September 2nd, and is open Thursdays through Sundays.

Harvest on the Harbour – A Night Under the Stars In support of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation

  • What: A spectacular evening with dinner, dancing, entertainment, silent auction and inspirational stories from families during their time with BC Children’s Hospital. Tickets available, $95/person or $85.50/person for a table of 10.

Cars, Rods & Rides Car Show

Great Canadian Beer Festival

  • What: Tickets SOLD OUT.

Superhero Night

  • What: Superhero’s wil be present at this event, kids 12 and under wearing their favourite superhero costume will get in FREE. Featuring Lordco Demo Series, NEXX Financial Claimers Cras, Wilsons Transportation Bus Race and Marlin Motors Hornet Cars. Grandstands open at 4:30pm, Fan Fest begins at 6:00pm (time permitting.

Victoria International Chalk Art Festival

  • What: Canada’s largest street painting festival featuring some of the world’s top street painters, including 3D chalk art. Children’s activities and live entertainment.
  • Where: Ship Point and The Bay Centre

One Day – FREE Community Event

  • What: Outdoor community event for all ages. BBQ lunch and refreshments, activities, live entertainment. Children’s Fun Zone featuring inflatable castle, face painting, mini golf and more. Event from 10:00am-3:00pm.
  • Where: Topaz Park

Royal Bay Beachpark

  • What: For the first time in over 100 years the public will have access to the Royal Bay’s waterfront. Family activities include FREE kayak and paddle board rentals, bouncy castle, face painting, local food trucks Frescoast, Wannawafel and Flody’s Diner will be serving up delicious food. Live music by Shaky Ground. The new beach volleyball courts will be open for use. Event from 12:00-5:00pm.

Art Studio Grand Opening

  • What: Create an autumn animal print at the new art studio opening in the Westshore. Refreshments available and make are to enter to win artsy prizes including a Make & Take Workshop.  Event from 1:00-4:00pm. Watercolour Art Kits available to purchase, $12 each.

  • What: Community celebration, Mayor Lisa Helps will officially begin the party at 12:20pm. Activities for all to enjoy, live entertainment, food, charitable silent auction, local artisans, along with face painting, hulu hooping and craft fair for the kids. Event from 12:00-6:00pm.
