BC Ferries will shut down service between the Island and the Mainland for the entire day later this afternoon. The 1pm departures will be the last of the day.
BC Ferries says the cancellations are due to the powerful storm that’s expected to hit B.C.’s south coast on Saturday evening.
The affected routes include:
Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay
Tsawwassen to Duke Point
Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay
Tsawwassen to the Southern Gulf Islands
