Dunedin Street at Gorge Road has reopened after police determined a suspicious device found on the side of the road was not dangerous.
The road was closed around 12:30 p.m. after police received reports of a suspicious device on the side of the road on Dunedin Street.
Upon arrival, police discovered an old industrial pot, closed the street and brought in additional resources out of an abundance of caution, according to police.
The road was reopened just after 3 p.m.
