The time has come to “fall back” as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end this Sunday, November 6.
The switch happens at 2 a.m. local time. Most devices connected wirelessly to the internet will automatically “fall back” to 1 a.m., but don’t forget to change any clocks that need a manual change, such as a wall or microwave clock.
First introduced to Canada 100 years ago as a way to save coal, it is now a hotly debated annual eight-month ritual. Over 70 countries use DST today, mainly to make better use of natural daylight.
Enjoy your extra hour of sleep!
