Reflection at its most authentic, Glad Tidings is releasing their live recorded Christmas album, “Carols Live: Kings & Queens” Sunday, November 27th.  Beautiful vocals dance over swooping melodies that beckon the listener to be enveloped into awe-inspiring peace, and to dance with exuberant joy.

A project that’s best listened to with the lights low, a warm cup of tea in hand, and maybe a fireplace if you can score one – this group hit the nail on the Christmas stocking and right into the mantlepiece.

Professionally recorded, arranged, mixed and mastered locally, this album, humbly pieced together, trumpets excellence and makes us proud to know it was put together in our hometown. Original arrangements of traditional Christmas standards with a classically ambient west coast vibe and beautifully original title track, “Kings & Queens,” written by Luke and Helena Stones, is perfect as a gift or the soundtrack to your holiday season.

Stay tuned as Victoria Buzz will be announcing a FREE 24 hour streaming of the album this week.

Glad Tidings is hosting a LIVE launch event night where the band will perform the entirety of Kings & Queens with two FREE admission showings at 6:00pm and 8:00pm.  Childcare is provided during the 6:00pm performance only.

Glad Tidings is a local, Victoria church community with locations in the downtown core and in the Westshore. The band is comprised of church members who have dedicatedly looked after this album project under the leadership of Worship Pastor, Luke Stones.
