A man was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition after being stabbed outside McDonald’s at Douglas and View streets Saturday.
Victoria police said they were called to the area for a stabbing at about 12:30 a.m.
Police said the man was in life-threatening condition when they arrived and he was rushed to hospital where he underwent emergency surgery.
Officers were able to locate a suspect in the area. A 27-year-old man remains in custody.
The investigation is ongoing and investigators are seeking witnesses to the stabbing or the events that led up to the assault.
