Three men were arrested in late October, after officers found them with a loaded firearm, and drugs during a traffic stop.
On October 25, a VicPD K9 officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300-block of Gorge Road East, when he noticed what he believed to be a firearm in the vehicle. Subsequently, all three occupants of the car were arrested.
Through the course of the investigation, officers applied for a search warrant for a residence in the 300-block of Gorge Road East and seized additional drugs, including Gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid (GHB).
Officers also found items they believed to be stolen, including baseball and hockey sports playing cards and a large ring of keys. VicPD investigators are now requesting the public’s assistance in locating the rightful owners of these items.
Police are also recommending a total of 25 charges against the men.
