Share

The Parole Board of Canada has granted temporary escorted absences to convicted killer Kelly Ellard to attend doctor’s appointments and parenting programs for her baby.

Ellard, who is serving her time at a Fraser Valley prison,  will be allowed to attend doctors appointments and parenting programs with her baby up to four times a month.

The 34-year-old has spent about 15 years behind bars after she was convicted of second-degree murder in the 1997 beating and drowning death of 14-year-old Reena Virk.

Her baby was conceived during a conjugal visit from her boyfriend 42-year-old Darwin Dorozan, who is also in prison.
