Watch Victoria Royals @ Lethbridge Hurricanes on Shaw TV

  • What: The Royals will have their hands full Friday night as they take on the streaking Lethbridge Hurricanes, who have set a torrid pace with 9 victories in their last 10 games. This contest will mark the 4th time this season that the Royals feature on Shaw TV.
  • When: Friday, February 17 – Puck drop is at 6:00 pm.
  • Where: The comfort of your home or a friends place?
  • Channel: Victoria residents – Ch 4 in SD, ch 304 in HD

Victoria Boat and Fishing Show

  • What: The largest and most successful Boat, Fishing and Outdoor Show on Vancouver Island. New boats, products and a variety of exhibitors on site. All your fishing needs in one location. “Fish On.”
  • When: Friday February 17 from 1:00-8:00pm, Saturday February 18 from 10:00am-6:00pm and Sunday February 19 from 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Where: Pearkes Recreation Centre
  • Tickets: $9/adults, $7/seniors, women and children FREE. Purchase online or cash only at the door, bring a non-perishable item to receive $2 off ticket cost.

Tasting Room at the Market

  • What: Victoria’s finest beers, wines, and ciders will be available for sampling. The products will be available for purchase. Local artisans will be on site.
  • When: Saturday February 18 from 11:00am-4:00pm
  • Where: Victoria Public Market, 1701 Douglas Street
  • Admission: FREE

February Fox Fair

  • What: Designer craft featuring over 35 local makers selling their handmade clothing, jewelry, pottery, kids clothing, toys and more.
  • When: Saturday February 18 from 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Where: Fernwood Community Centre, 1240 Gladstone Avenue
  • Admission: $2

HeadWay Health Fair

  • What: Various demonstrations such as equipment fitting, aging backward, fitness, boxing, wellness. See schedule for demonstrations.  Proceeds to support Victoria Epilepsy and Parkinson Centre. Door prizes every hour!!
  • When: Saturday February 18 from 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Where: Mary Winspear Centre, 2243 Beacon Avenue
  • Admission: by donation

The Lego Exhibit

  • What: The year’s exhibits includes the entire street scene. Stars Wars diorama depicting the Hoth Planet, with the Imperial forces attacking the rebels will be on display and much more.
  • When: Friday February 17 – March 31 from 10:00am-4:00pm daily
  • Where: Sidney Museum, 2423 Beacon Avenue
  • Admission: By donation

Bubble Guppies Live – Ready to Rock

  • What: Watch Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies in this theatrical and funny performance as Molly, Gil and the gang embark on an adventure as they search every corner of their underwater world for their missing friend.
  • When: Friday, February 17, show begins at 6:30 pm
  • Where: McPherson Playhouse, #3 Centennial Square

Repair Cafe

  • What: Drop in to learn how to fix your household item from bike repairs, electrical repairs, gluing, sewing, woodwork and more. Space limited.
  • When: Saturday February 18 from 9:30am-12:30pm
  • Where: Greater Victoria Public Library, community room
  • Admission: FREE

Rarity Fashion Spring Show

  • What: Enjoy an afternoon of dress-up and a fashion show with the launching a new line of hand-made children’s clothing, designed and created locally. Photo booth, light food, refreshments, wine, and Mimosa bar. There will be fashion giveaways.
  • When: Sunday, February 19 from 4:00-6:30 pm

IMAX Victoria Film Festival

  • What: Featuring six films: Space Station, Under the Sea, Meerkats, Deepsea Challenge, Amazing Mighty Micro Monsters and Robots. Purchase a Festival Pass for $41.25 or an annual pass for $51.25.
