There are eight new kids set to welcome visitors to the Beacon Hill Children’s Farm for the opening of the season this Friday, March 10th.
The farm will open its gate at 10 a.m. and as per tradition there will be the running of the goats twice per day at 10:10 a.m. and 4:10 p.m.
Admission to the Beacon Hill Children’s Farm is by donation.
The farm has been in operation since 1985 by the Koenders family in conjunction with the Beacon Hill Farm Society.
The hands-on experience, particularly with the most popular feature that is the goat petting area, “encourages children be compassionate toward living creatures.”
