Oak Bay makes list of Canada’s most and least expensive cities to rent apartments

If you’re sick of the trend of rising rent prices on the west coast, it might be time to look at moving to Quebec for relief.

According to rentseeker.ca, a popular real estate website, Oak Bay is the 8th most expensive place to rent an apartment, throughout the country.

Published on March 28th, the list also features Vancouver, Toronto, and Mississauga in the top 10.

On the flip side, the list of 10 least expensive cities to rent an apartment features 8 cities from Quebec.

According to rentseeker.ca, the average rent for a 1 bedroom apartment in Oak Bay is showing at $866. Other averages given:

Also note that although the list shows the average of the prices seem comparatively low, the real time asking prices of newer rentals are considerably higher.
