The Langtoria Greenline, a luxury commuter bus service transporting people from Langford to downtown Victoria is coming to an end on June 30.
According to a statement, the ridership remained low despite the marketing efforts.
But since launching September, the 50-seat bus only has 19 regular riders.
The City of Langford launched the Langtoria Greenline bus service in late 2016 in a bid to offer a comfortable trip to work for Langford residents who travel into Victoria every day.
“Transportation between the West Shore and Victoria remains a priority for council. As such, the City will continue to work with the province on the feasibility of a commuter rail on the E&N Rail corridor,” said manager of public works George Henshall
Wilson’s Transportation operated the bus.
