Victoria police have blocked off the 500-block of Yates Street as they deal with a suspicious package inside of a parkade Wednesday morning.
A police robot and armoured vehicle could be seen just outside of the Bastion Square.
Yates Street between Langley and Wharf Street remains closed and police say it could be several hours before the road and parkade are reopened.

Businesses in the 500 block of Yates Street have been evacuated as a precaution. Police are asking motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area.
