A section of the Gorge Park is closed off after a body, believed to be a male, was found near Tillicum and Gorge roads.
A park employee was alerted to the body at around 7 p.m by two people who were out on the water.
Saanich police were called to the scene and have closed off some areas of the park as they carry out an investigation.
Update:
Saanich Police have ruled out foul play. The case has been turned over to the BC Coroner’s Service.
