This Sunday, check out the action at Power To Play as teams race for the finish line in their efforts to raise $185,000 in support of Power To Be.

No, really – there’s going to be an actual race!

This year, 35 teams from the local business community are going to take on an incredible land- and water-based adventure race at Elk/Beaver Lake Park.

Presented by TD, this fundraiser aims to assist Power To Be – a local non-profit organization founded in 1998 – to offer inclusive adventures rooted in nature to children, youth and adults living with a barrier or disability.

The Victoria-based organization will support 1200 participants this year, and we definitely want to keep their efforts alive!

So come out on Sunday, May 28th to watch the teams battle it out over 10km and 15 challenges – for a few coveted awards, and the even greater satisfaction of knowing that their efforts contributed to a great cause.
