Get ready to make a big splash!
The new and improved water park in Tsawwassen will open its doors to school groups on Monday before fully opening to the public on June 24.
The seven-acre Splashdown Waterpark promises to be bigger and better than its predecessor.
Among the many amenities at Big Splash will be newly renovated pools and hot tubs – including a new large, adult-only hot tub – a new clubhouse, Vegas-style cabanas for private parties, BV’s Sports Bar and Grill, a sun splash patio with umbrella furniture, new landscaping and a new park layout.
Executive Hotels & Resorts, a Vancouver-based hotel chain took over the dated waterpark in January after the taps were turned off at Splashdown Park in September for what appeared to be the final time.
The company announced the park would be re-opened as Big Splash Water Slide Park as a new destination attraction.
The Big Splash Waterpark is also planning new slide installations for the 2018 season and a new boutique-style hotel in 2019.
