Don’t forget the poop bags the next time you bring your pooch to a Saanich park.
The municipality will no longer provide dog waste bags to park visitors in the hopes of saving taxpayers thousands of dollars.
The decision which came into effect last month will save Saanich about $10,000 a year.
Only 10 of 171 parks were supplied with the bag dispensers.
The dispensers will be in place until they run out of bags.
