Sentencing of impaired driver involved in death of West Shore RCMP officer delayed until July

Share

The sentencing of Kenneth Jacob Fenton, who pleaded guilty several charges in connection with a crash on April  5, 2016, that killed Const. Sarah Beckett has been delayed until early July.

Fenton pleaded guilty in late May to two counts of impaired driving causing death and dangerous driving causing death.

According to reports from Goldstream News and Chek News, the length of all the statements today made it impossible to complete the sentencing.

The case is adjourned to fix a date for continuation.
