Victoria Police are advising drivers to steer clear of the area around the Balmoral Rd and Vancouver St intersection after a chestnut tree brought down two power poles.
It appears a pair of utility poles fell onto the street Wednesday morning, dangerously exposing power lines.
Police first tweeted the news at 11:15 am. Shortly after, they tweeted a photo detailing the scene and added that traffic will be “disrupted in the area for sometime.”
