Head down to the Inner Harbour tonight from 4:00 – 10:00 pm for a free concert!
Five world-renowned artists will be kicking off the annual Victoria Ska Reggae Festival at ship point this evening. Kicking things off are Mexican ska band Out of Control Army, who will be making their Canadian debut. Next up are Cowichan Valley’s Checko & The Lion Rockers, followed by Colombian reggae outfit Mistica.
Headlining the festival’s opening night are Jah9 and The Dub Treatment. Jamaica native Jah9 brings a spiritual aspect to her Jazz-on-Dub style that will leave audiences buzzing.
Grab a bite to eat at the kickoff from one of the many vendors, including Indecent Risotto, The Reef, Far East Food Service, Unique Grill and Mini Donuts!
