Police issue friendly reminder to not bring them drugs

Share

Central Saanich police have issued a friendly reminder regarding the discovery of drugs around town.

Every so often, good-hearted Victorians come across drug and/or paraphernalia and bring them to the police station for disposal.

Those who do this generally have good intentions, but the action could potentially harm everyone involved.

Drugs have to be handled in a safe, deliberate manner to ensure the public and police officers are not exposed to potentially fatal substances.

If you come across or suspect any drugs or paraphernalia, do not move them. Instead, call your local police station.

An officer will arrive to assist with handling and disposal.
