CTV Vancouver Island recently crunched the numbers for Victoria’s largest possible intersection waits, giving us the 10 longest lights in Victoria and Saanich. Unsurprisingly, both of Victoria’s 5-way intersections make the cut.

Here’s the list:

1. Johnson Street Bridge (2:24)
2. Wilkinson/Interurban/Hastings Street (1:52)
3. Finlayson at Burnside Road (1:48)
4. Blanshard at Finlayson (1:47)
5. Quadra at Bay (1:45)
6. Burnside Road at Tillicum (1:44)
7. Douglas at Hillside (1:41)
8. Cook at Quadra (1:41)
9. McKenzie at Shelbourne (1:39)
10. Bay at Cook (1:33)

These are not officialy released numbers, so we suggest taking the accuracy of the stats with a grain of salt. However, as regular drivers – and bikers – in downtown Victoria, we’re pretty sure most of these numbers check out.
