Yes, you read that right. No less than 15 comedy shows are happening across Victoria this weekend!
Along with the usual mix of weekend open mics and headlining stand-up comedians, the Fringe Festival is in town. So Victoria is being treated to an unusually outstanding selection of out-of-town acts and homegrown brilliance.
Local favourites like Morgan Cranny and Sean Proudlove are bringing their one-man shows to town alongside intriguing foreign acts such as Charles Adrian’s Stories About Love, Death & A Rabbit and Trent Baumann’s The Birdmann and Egg: Birdhouse.
The options are practically endless. In fact, we’re pretty sure it’d be impossible to see every single one of these shows in one weekend. That being said, it’s worth a try.

Ivan is a hilarious voice for the millennial generation. His fun and silly approach to stand up often reveals the humor hiding in the everyday trials of today’s young adult with careful dissection, brilliant timing, and intelligent observation.
