A two-vehicle crash involving a car and a semi-trailer truck lead to the closure of the southbound lanes of Pat Bay Highway Thursday afternoon.
The crash occured near the Vanalman exit, at around 3 p.m which lead to the closure of the southbound lanes between Quadra Street and McKenzie Avenue.
Traffic was diverted onto Quadra Street causing significant traffic backup in the area.
A car was trapped under a semi-trailer truck following the collision.
Surprisingly, the driver of the white car only suffered minor injuries and was able to walk away from the crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
