Police release surveillance video of 2 men wanted in random assault in Victoria

Police are seeking two men wanted in connection to an alleged downtown assault that sent two men to hospital.

The incident happened shortly before 11:00 p.m. on August 21, at the corner of View and Douglas streets. 

The altercation between four men resulted in two men being taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It is believed that the two suspects, who fled the scene before police arrived, randomly assaulted the victims.

Police have released video surveillance of the two suspects entering Peacock Billiards shortly after the incident and are asking the public to come forward.

Description of Suspects

The first suspect is described as Caucasian man in his mid- to late-20s, tall, strong build, short brown hair, clean shaven, wearing a blue t-shirt, with white jeans.He had a dark duffel bag slung over his left shoulder and holding a white plastic bag in his hand.

The other suspect is also Caucasian in his mid to late 20s, average height, average to heavy build, very short dark hair, clean shaven, wearing a grey baseball hat, blue jeans and white shoes.
