5th Street bar and woodfired grill Hand cut Kennebec fries, crispy bacon, traditional cheese curds, house-made beef gravy

If you needed another reason to indulge in the cheesy, potato-y goodness that is a Canadian staple, Poutine with Purpose is bringing poutine week to Victoria for the first time ever!

Here’s what you need to know

1. It’s a week-long celebration of poutine!

Originating in Calgary, Poutine with Purpose is bringing its love of the cuisine to Victoria for a whole week on October 16th to the 22nd. Whether you prefer classic poutine, or want to try every variation the city has to offer – this is the week to follow your heart’s desire!

2. For every poutine you buy, someone in need gets a free meal

This amazing feature of poutine week makes all the extra calories worth it! Just pick a poutine at a participating partner restaurant, and someone in need will be given a free meal, thanks to local non-profit Mealshare.

3. What is Mealshare?
