Salt & Pepper Fox set to open on Government St in former Cascadia Bakery location

Look out Victorians – there’s a new lunch option in town!

Last month, we were saddened by the news that Cascadia Bakery would be closing its doors for good after providing Government Street frequenters with delicious baked goods for 28 years.

However, it has been confirmed that the space will now be used by local lunch delivery/take-out company, Salt & Pepper Fox.

The owner of the eatery, Liam Quinn, opened his first location in a small Lower Johnson retail studio, which has since received 5 star ratings all across the board.

“The Salt & Pepper Fox takes care of lunch so you don’t have to. We deliver handmade lunch to Victorians five days a week, because face it, everyone eats lunch, but not everyone makes it this good,” their website states – and not incorrectly, if we do say so ourselves.

The company is currently hiring bakers for their new Government St. location:

The exact day of opening has not been confirmed yet, but we can’t wait to see what this new cafe has in store.
