UPDATED | Victoria Police searching for missing elderly local man

UPDATE: Brent “Buddy” Smith has been located and is safe.

Victoria Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing elderly Victoria man.

Brent “Buddy” Smith was last seen on October 23rd at 5:15 PM in James Bay – on Government and Superior St.

Buddy is described as 6’3″, with a bushy white beard, white shaggy hair, and was last seen wearing a baseball bat.

Police believe he may have been carrying a large number of books, tends to walk fast, and may be agitated.

At this time, Vic PD is encouraging anyone that sees him to call 911.
