Another weekend is in the books but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. From a cultural Bachata dance instructing to Monday Night Football, there’s plenty to make this Monday a memorable one.

Bachata Dance Instructing

  • What: Take on a new style of dance and a different culture! The fine folks at Bachata Canada invite all friends and family to join them and learn together in a fun-filled cultural environment. You can expect to learn a couple of patterns and techniques each week, and all classes will be progressive and fun.
  • Where: Bachata Canada, 3277 Douglas St.
  • Time: 7:30pm – 8:30pm.
  • Cost: $15 drop in, or $50 for 4 weeks.

Cocktail Hour with Philip Duff

  • What: A jet-set bartender, Irishman and spirits expert Philip Duff is one of the cocktail community’s best-loved presenters & educators, a renowned expert on all distilled spirits (but especially gin & genever), and an in-demand on-trade & beverage consultant to drinks companies around the world. Come and enjoy an intimate evening with Philip Duff has he talks about world travel, bartending, genever and his love for education.
  • Where: Foxtrot Tango Whisky Bar
  • Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

Basic Pattern Making Techniques

  • What: Calling all fashion lovers! Learn proven fashion industry pattern making techniques to professionally manipulate basic blocks to create your own fashion designs. In this hands-on class students will practice the pattern making skills required for creative style development.
  • Where: The Makehouse, #400-2950 Douglas St.
  • Time: 6:00 – 8:30pm.
  • Cost: $135 for 3 classes

Monday Night Football at The Loft

  • What: Wall to wall flat screens and $4 off of pizza! Come watch the Miami Dolphins face the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football!
  • Where: The Loft, 229 Gorge Rd East.
  • Time: 5:30pm kick-off.
  • Cost: Depends how much beer and pizza you eat!

Student & Instructor Art Show

  • What: Check out the art made by student and instructor alike! Participants in the Esquimalt Recration creative arts programs have been working long and hard, and would love to enjoy their creations with you. Support budding artists of all ages! Pieces by instructors Audrey Greenless and ShotbyAnny Photography will also be on display.
  • Where: Esquimalt Branch Greater Victoria Public Library, 1231 Esquimalt Rd.
  • Time: 10:00pm – 8:00pm.
