Meanwhile in Vancouver… lower mainland residents made the most of their public transit system last night with an onboard Halloween dance party.

Hosted by the Vancouver Public Space Network (VPSN), the free (apart from the price of transit) event called for partiers to dress up in their “wildest” Halloween attire and dance to the tunes of DJ Rocky Fi$her from Waterfront station to King George station and back.

According to its website, the VPSN “works to champion the importance of public space to the overall liveability of the city.”

The Skytrain Halloween Party came with a clear set of rules, calling for attendees to be respectful, clear out trash, and give high-fives to transit workers.
