Parks Canada hosts afternoon of free Remembrance Day activities

Parks Canada is hosting an afternoon of activities to commemorate Remembrance Day at Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites.

On Saturday, November 11th, the “Why Wear a Poppy” drop-in event will run from 12 – 4 pm.

Parks invites the public to commemorate Remembrance Day by going for an autumn stroll, writing a postcard to a veteran, hearing stories from local re-enactors, creating special crafts and enjoying a cup of heritage hot chocolate.

Admission is free!
