The Victoria Royals suffered a heavy loss at home last night, surrenduring goals in the double digits to a high-powered Lethbridge offence.
In the first period, the game looked set to be a close contest. Lethbridge went up 2-1 thanks to a pair of goals from Ryan Vandervlis.
However, after Tyler Soy evened the game at 2-2, the contest quickly devolved into target practice – Victoria gave up four goals in five minutes and the Hurricanes all but cruised to victory.
