If you’ve ever complained about how high your cell phone bill is, you are not alone.

Canadian phone plans are among the most expensive in the world. But this holiday season, a few companies are trying to give consumers a break.

It could mean big savings for data users

This week, as part of their Boxing Day promotions, Fido and its parent company Rogers announced a plan offering users 10 GB of data for just $60 a month.

The offer is available to new customers activating a no-term contract in British Columbia and Alberta.

Koodo is also offering the same plan and price for users in B.C., Alberta, and Ontario.

Offers end soon

Rogers and Fido will be offering their deal until December 18th, and Koodo is keeping it on the market until December 19th.

It’s the perfect reason to get out there and start your holiday shopping!

And if you’re with a different network provider and would like to switch in order to take advantage of these deals, you can now unlock your phone from its current carrier for free.
