Note: There are no fireworks this year in downtown Victoria.

All Ages Events

First Night – Panorama Recreation Centre

  • What: A family-friendly evening filled with swimming, skating, laser tag, and this genius invention called the human hamster ball. Food trucks and a fireworks show will help tie the night together for the whole family!
  • When: December 31st
    4:45pm – 9pm
  • Where: Panorama Rec Centre

  • Cost: Tickets can be purchased online or in-person at the front desk

New Year’s Eve at Hotel Grand Pacific

  • What: Enjoy a 3 course dinner at The Pacific restaurant. There will be live entertainment in the lounge starting at 9pm (minimum $40 spend). At midnight, a countdown and champagne toast will welcome you into the New Year!
  • When: December 31st
    Starts at 5pm
  • Where: Hotel Grand Pacific

  • Cost: $70 for adults
    $35 for children under the age of 11

New Year’s Eve Gala: Paul Pigat and the Smoking Jacket, with special guest David Vest

  • What: Enjoy a 5 course meal courtesy of the chef at Hermann’s Jazz Club. Afterwards, you can dance the night away to Paul Pigat and the Smoking Jacket. There will be complimentary champagne for the countdown to the new year.

New Year’s Eve Pre-Countdown Dinner

  • What: Start your New Year’s Eve pre-party off right with a decadent 4 course meal that their on-staffed chefs have planned and a toast in their gastropub.

Early Shift: Going Wildly into the New Year

  • What: This family-friendly event lets families unleash their inner animal. The museum has planned interactive and informational activities based on their newest exhibit: Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Music, food, and entertainment will all be supplied by the museum.
  • When: December 31st
    6pm – 8:30pm
  • Where: Royal BC Museum

  • Cost: $16 for youth
    $24 for adults

Canoe NYE Party 2018

  • What: Let The New Souls make the start of your 2018 with the right groove. Canoe will provide the food, drinks, party hats and midnight toast. You bring the party!
  • When: December 31st

All Nights Affair – Gala Buffet

  • What: Enjoy a gala buffet in the grand Bear Mountain Ballroom. Dance to Shaky Ground till midnight and celebrate the new year with champagne and a balloon drop!

New Year’s Eve with The Timebenders

  • What: Dance the year away with a timeless band, The Timebenders. Let them transport you through the eras, with the biggest stars of the last 60 years! Enjoy complimentary champagne, party favours and a photobooth.

A Bingo NYE 2017

  • What: How amazing would it be to win Bingo when the clock strikes midnight! Your ticket includes appies and party favours. There’s a chance for you to win cash prizes all throughout the night!

New Year’s Eve 2018

  • What: Have a steak & lobster dinner for only $40, and then rock out to The Temps starting at 9pm. Bubbly, party favours, balloon drop AND confetti cannon guarantees that this night will be one to remember!
