On Friday, December 15th, Seamus Weeks pleaded guilty to child pornography and a series of other online sex offence charges.

According to a CTV News report, Weeks pleaded guilty on all ten charges including making or publishing child porn, luring a child under 18 on a computer, invitation to sexual touching under 16 years old, criminal harassment and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

The incidents occurred online between November 2015 and June 2016, and affected girls in Greater Victoria, Kamloops, and the United States.

Hailing from Central Saanich, Weeks was 18 while committing the offences and was arrested after all the teenage girls involved came forward with allegations against him.

His next court appearance to begin his sentencing process is slated for February 18th, 2018.
