Yesterday, the Ucluelet and Tofino area had a once-in-a-decade storm watching experience!
Environment Canada issued a wind warning earlier this week, with western Vancouver Island being hit with winds as strong as 90km/hr. This resulted in record-breaking waves over 9.5 metres high and forced Parks Canada to issue an extreme wave hazard advisory.
Please be careful while storm watching. As cool as this weather phenomenon is, the ocean is incredibly powerful!
