It’s time to take in some buttery-smooth beats and hop to the music!
The Swollen Members will be returning to Victoria as part of their 2018 Canadian tour, turning up the music at Upstairs Cabaret on Monday, January 22nd.
The Vancouver-based hip hop group burst into people’s walkmans in the late ’90s with their debut album, “Balance”, and haven’t looked back.
Helping put west coast Canadian hip-hop on the map, the Juno-award winners have pumped out eleven albums out thus far, and have also collaborated with the likes of Tech N9ne, Nelly Furtado, Saigon, and Everlast.
The platinum-selling group has twice won the Juno for Rap Recording of the Year with their albums “Monsters in the Closet” (2003) and “Black Magic” (2007).
It will be their first tour in Canada since reuniting with Ice-T, 2-Live Xrew, Onyx, Merkulese, and Insane Clown Posse back in early 2017.
