Nanaimo RCMP have released a photo of a suspect accused in a weekend bank robbery that was caught on surveillance cameras.
According to police, the man entered the TD Bank at Terminal Park Shopping Centre at around 3:40 p.m. Saturday.
He told staff he had a firearm in his pocket but did not produce a weapon during the robbery.
He walked out of the bank after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen moving south through the mall parking lot.
Police described the suspect is described as a white, heavy set and in his 40s with a deep voice. He’s 5’10”, with dark hair, a goatee and mustache. He was wearing a brown jacket, dark gloves and a dark hat with a logo.
