Hunting for a summer job or know someone who is?
Well look no further, because today, top businesses in Victoria’s tourism industry are coming together to host their second annual cruise tourism job fair.
The initiative is being undertaken by the Victoria Cruise Industry Alliance (VCIA) and promises to offer employment opportunities for people with varying levels and types of skills.

Here’s a list of all the businesses there:
- Victoria Cruise Industry Alliance
- CVS Tours
- The Pedaler
- Wilson’s Transportation Ltd.
- Beaver Gift Shop
- Greater Victoria Harbour Authority
- Orca Spirit Adventures
- The Butchart Gardens
Last year, the event created over 800 jobs – it’s no wonder that Victoria has the lowest unemployment rate of any city in Canada!
And thanks to the new NDP government, entry level positions in B.C. will be paid more than ever before, at $12.65/hour.
