Here’s what it’s like to take a trip on the luxury V2V Empress vessel (VIDEO)

Share

The V2V Empress luxury vessel has recently begun its much awaited regular scheduled sailings to and from downtown Victoria and Canada Place in Vancouver.

The high-speed catamaran is a passenger-only vessel (that means no cars) that offers unparalleled luxury and views you can never forget.

Tiers of service

The 254-seater offers three tiers of service:

  • Premium is their most basic tier at $110 (although if you’re willing to be seated in the centre aisle, you can get a $40 discount), and offers leather seating and a wide selection of local food and beverages available for purchase.
  • Gold passengers pay $150 for their ticket, but have the added luxury of complimentary food and beverages, more comfortable seating at tables, and priority boarding.
  • Royal ticket-holders all get reclining leather seats on the upper deck of the vessel, fabulous panoramic views, concierge services, and everything that Gold passengers get – for a price tag of $200 per passenger.

Clearly the V2V Empress is mainly meant for vacationers who wish to experience all the beauty that Vancouver Island has to offer.

But what about people who live here and want to travel to and from the mainland for business (and pleasure)?
