

A small 2.3-magnitude earthquake was detected on southern Vancouver Island Tuesday night.
According to Earthquake Tracker, the seismic event occurred at 10:06 pm at a depth of 33 kilometres.
The tremor’s epicentre was recorded about seven kilometres northwest of Langford.
Residents in the West Shore took to social media reportedly feeling the quake. Others said they felt the shake in Victoria and Oak Bay.
No damage has been reported, and no tsunami warning was issued.
