Health Canada has just issued a recall for over two dozen uncertified USB chargers, citing electric shock and fire risks.

The announcement is the result of testing done on uncertified chargers purchased at various dollar stores, gas stations, and variety stores across Canada.

The organization has published a full list of the chargers in question – click here to access it. If you are in possession of any of these chargers, either return it to the place you bought it from, or get rid of it right away.

Before you buy a charger or any electrical product, make sure that it is certified and meets Canadian electrical safety standards.
