Victoria’s first annual Irish Whiskey Hooley is happening next week

Share

St. Patrick’s day is coming a week early to Yates Street Taphouse!

On March 11th, our city’s first annual Irish Whiskey Hooley will bring a traditional Gaelic experience to Victoria.

Hooley Definition: a party; an evening of traditional music and dance

With over 40 Whiskeys available for sampling, live music from Cookeilidh Celtic Band and Knackers Yard, and table magic from Jordan Blaikie and The King of Magic, this event has everything you need to bring out your inner Irish.

Plus, prizes will be given out for the best costumes!

Tickets are only available in advance, so get yours soon.

Entry includes a dram of all 40 Whiskeys on hand, a wonderful logoed tasting glass, and a Whiskey Passport to take notes of your whiskey-induced travels.

The Hooley is even offering a Whiskey school, where you’ll receive a “diploma” upon graduation!

Money from ticket sales will contribute to a free St. Patricks’s Day family event at Market Square on March 17th.
