Saanich Police are on the hunt and asking for the public’s help in finding the driver of a black four-door Mercedes after the driver allegedly fled a crash early Friday morning.
According to police, the driver of a black-four door Mercedes was heading west on Burnside Road East at about 6 a.m. Friday when it ran a red light at Harriet Road and was “T-boned” by a Dodge Caravan proceeding on a green light collided with it.
The Mercedes then spun into two other vehicles waiting at the red light then fled west on Burnside Road West after the crash.
Police said the black four-door Mercedes would likely have significant damage on the rear portion of the driver’s side.
