One of Victoria’s favourite donut shops is expanding its local presence with the opening of a new restaurant!
Empire Chicken and Donuts will open in Cook Street Village this summer.
The expansion was announced in the form of an excitedly-written Instagram post. “Wonderful people of Victoria!!!” Empire Donuts wrote. “I don’t know if you’re ready for this… I know I am. I am so, so excited to announce the new project I’ve been working on. Introducing…. EMPIRE FRIED CHICKEN AND DONUTS!!!”
No, we didn’t add the caps or the exclamation marks. They’re really that stoked. And honestly, so are we.
If you still only feel like having a donut, not to worry, the existing 736 View Street shop will remain open (Tuesday to Friday 8am until 3pm or Sold Out / Saturday 9am until 3pm or Sold Out).
