Two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after an assault in downtown Victoria Thursday night.
In a tweet, police said that two people had been injured in an assault with a weapon at Centennial Square.
There are reports the two people were stabbed.
Centennial Square was taped off for most of the night and police dogs were called in.
The investigation is ongoing and there have been no arrests.
