Shortly after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, officers located missing 56-year-old Victoria man, Daniel Rice. Daniel is in the process of being reunited with his family.

Victoria police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 56-year-old Victoria man, Daniel Rice (who answers to the name ‘Danny’).

Rice was last seen at 2 PM on Tuesday, April 10th, on Esquimalt Road and Head Street walking towards downtown Victoria. He was reported missing to VicPD at 8 PM this evening.

He’s described as an aboriginal man standing 5’2″ tall, with black hair, brown eyes, a full beard, and a heavy build.

He was last seen wearing an orange hoody and will possibly have a shopping cart with him as he is known to collect bottles.

Police and family are concerned for Daniel’s well being due to medical concerns and his limited speech.
