Phillips Comedy Night at the Mint

What: The funniest night of the week is this Wednesday at The Mint! Each week Morgan Cranny and Drew Farrance bring the most hilarious comedians in the city together for a wonderful evening of fun at the best venue for stand up comedy in Victoria.

Intro to Wood carving: Butter Spreader

What: Using local wood and a knife learn how to make a useful tool for everyday use in your kitchen while establishing the fundamental skills of working unseasoned wood with simple hand tools. There will be a demonstration of using a carving axe to process a small log into a rough blank that the students will then be able to carve into their finished object.

The Sorority: Pledge Tour

What: Haviah Mighty, pHoenix Pagliacci, Lex Leosis and Keysha Freshh are The Sorority. These four women came together in 2016 to create what would become one of the most important all female hip hop cyphers released on International Women’s Day. Since then the group have teamed up to claim their rightful place in the Canadian Hip Hop landscape.Known for their high energy performances and incredible chemistry on stage, The Sorority are bringing their debut performance and first headlining tour to Victoria.

Social Media Camp 2018

What: Social Media Camp – Canada’s largest social media conference. What makes them unique is the broad spectrum of delegates they attract as they tackle all aspects of social media.
