Central Saanich police arrested a 75-year-old man who was brandishing a knife at the Brentwood Bay ferry terminal on Monday at about 9 AM.
No injuries were reported, and the man was arrested without incident.
Officers are currently in the early stages of their investigation, and according to Cst. Ryan Johnston, the suspect was released shortly after being arrested.
According the BC Ferries website, the disturbance caused a delay in the operation of their MV Klitsa vessel. The ferry is therefore currently running 25 minutes behind schedule.
